We are doing a Murder Mystery theme. We are hiring an acting company to guide us, and have had teachers volunteer to act as the characters in the murder. we are basing the layout on the game of clue, exvept we have taken a very english manor spin to it. and have had the tables and their centerpieces be the main representation of the rooms, i.e. a library would have books as the center of the centerpiece etc.

For the 2002-03 school year our theme is Under The Sea.prom has yet to come but for winter formal the theme was Kiss The Girl ! As in the song Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid. I thought it was adorable!

Last year our theme was Mardi Gra. They had masks, beads, and glow sticks. This years theme is Hawaiian. We haven't decided what we're going to use but it will probably be layas. Hopefully it will be a night to remember. My Freshman years theme was The Secret Garden, and everything was decorated with plants and ferns. It was definately one to remember.

Midnight Magic was the theme of the 2001 prom of James A Garfield High School, The Bertrum Inn was done in balloons and red, white and pink roses. On the four corners of the dance floor were groups of purple, blue and black balloons. The tables were covered in black and purple tableclothes. On the one end of the dance floor were huge balloons of 2003 in the purple and blue. Above the dance floor were hundreds of balloons. As you enter the hall a arch covered in red roses and lights. Had floating candles and roses in the centerpiece. It was so romantic!

Last year our prom theme was Cinderella. We gave out little glass shoe key chains. We made a castle and put glitter all over it. The color was purple.

Our theme this year is "Lost in a Dream," which I think is a good theme, I'm happy with it. But we haven't decided on our colors yet and I'm not really happy with the place we're having it at, but oh well.

Our theme this year is "Signs" and we are having our dance out in this corn field owned by one of our teachers. Our school mascot will be a crop sign, and that is where the dance will be. We are all dressing like aliens and our song is going to be Third Day's "Alien". It should be great!

Our theme for my junior prom was "Change the World" and of course the song was "Change the World" by Eric Clapton. It was so great. Our colors were black,silver,and cranberry. It was so beautiful and i had the greatest time.

Our school's prom theme is Paradise. We want to have prom in our new fieldhouse, but there is controversy over getting the basketball floors ruined. So, our prom commitee is thinking of making it a shoeless prom! And we are going to have a big waterfall in the background! It's gonna be so much fun!

We themed our prom on the world famous industrial process of vulcanized rubber in order to raise money for the inventor of this rubber who sadly neglected to patent his invention and died peniless.
