The Juniors this year are probably doing "A Night in Paradise Under the Sea" which i think is alright but another option was "Carnival in Venice" which i think is pretty!

Im a Junior this year... and you cant attend our prom as a freshman... and only if you are asked as a sophomore... so this year will be my first ever prom... Our theme has been descided to be "The Luckiest..." And our song is the Luckiest... by Ben Folds Five! Its the BEST song!!! Suggest it for your prom theme!!! =)

Hi I'm a junior at a small school in IA and i was wondering if people out there have as much problems as i do with the school's choices of prom themes. This year ours is "A night in Paradise". . . in other words, water and fish. we haven't had anything different since i've been here and since i can remember which has been 4 years. Is all people want water and fish or I'm just in the dark???

Our theme is "Stand by me", YA KNOW...THE OLDIE? I have no idea how that's a theme but we'll see what our marvelous committee can whip up. I just hope to God its not pastels, my dress is as bright as it gets baby!!

We had a beautiful prom last year, our theme song was "a moment like this", cheesy, however, our colours were deep red, cream and gold, and it was SO elegent. we decorated our hall with white trellaces, covered in real red roses, little white christmas lights, then we had gold and cream balloons, with a center piece of roses, and the balloons, with rose petals sprinkled all over the tables, along with little bundles of rose chocolates, and also we sprinkled gold and cream confetti on each table cloth. finally, every person went home with a deep red photo album as a keepsake, with "A Moment Like This, Prom 2003" on it. It was a night to remember. It was beautiful.

this year our school has decided to make the theme of prom "island paradise." i dread seeing all of the plastic fish and palm trees, that i expect. isn't prom supposed to be fancy and romantic? oh, and to top it all off.. after prom is going to be held at a bowling alley, an hour away, and we have to ride a schoolbus there and back!

This year our theme is 'Island Fantasy' the colors we are mainly decorating with are jungle green, purple and black, with hints of fuscia (we have a really cool arc that we are using that has all those colors.) Last year was Viva Las Vegas and it was pretty cool, with dice and decks of cards everywhere... kinda weird tho.

Hi our 2003-2004 prom theme is going to be a moment like this I am on the prom committee and the colors I thinks are blue and silver thios is my first year to the prom so any theme is fine to someone who wants to get dressed up and look pretty.

I can't believe the stupid theme our school is having. All the juniors just BS'ed their way through making money for it and well we don't have any money for it now. So we are making it before night falls. It's going to be held outside the school. Great Fun!!!! :(

This year the prom committee f***ed things up by 1) changing prom from may to april on such a short notice 2) by picking a lame ass theme which is Remember 2nite. What kind of theme is that! oh and the colors are lame too! who wears yellow n purple!

This yeah (2004) I am a SENIOR and I cant wait till prom. But last year was our year as JUNIORS to do the prom our class is small and we tend to stick together so we came up the best prom ever. Over a last few years at MHS it has been water and flowers so we decided to change it. We did a red capet/Hollwood theam. Everone LOVED it and we were so proud of ourselves. It took alot of hard work during school and many late night hours getting everything just right! I just cant wait to see what prom is going to look like this year!

our school used the idea for Mardi Gras and added a mexican flair to it. We had the New Orleans music going on then all of the sudden some Mariachi band starts to play. I was asking myself the whole night...why did I come to this prom?!

Our graduation theme is 'gods and goddess' , we will decorate by using pillars and hanging vains by the ceiling and white bed sheets. Each person in our class will have to choise a god or goddess to represent them.

Last year (my junior year) prom was AWESOME. Our theme was "arabian nights". There were all different colored fabrics and candles and pillars and the king and queen wore "arabian turbins". It was hilarious, and everyone had a good time. This year our theme is "take me to the moon" (i hope it turns out okay)

Hi, I'm a junior this year, and our prom theme is "Sunset in Paris", everyone is really excited about the theme, and it should be lots of fun. Last year my boyfriend was a junior, so i got to go to the prom as a sophmore, the theme was Mardi Gras,and it was so much fun hopefully this yea rwill be have a little more of a romantic and sexy feeling to it :)

Last year I was a Junior and our prom theme was "Southern Romance". It looked like we were steping into a scene from "Gone with the WInd". We had pilars and fountains. We used mauve and pink fabric to drape around the pilars. The tables were decorated with white beads, southern bonnettes and canes. It was amazing!

This year our theme is "Me and You." I feel this idea is totally bogus, but what do I know. Any way we are covering the ceiling in black and silver balloons. Our main center piece is going to be a lit water fountain. I think that it is going to be awesome. The fountain is being designed by a group from Conn.
