our theme last year was enchanted evening, we had waterfalls and lots of trees and greenery and a gazebo that we took pictures in.. the colors were hunter green,white, and silver.. This year our prom theme is Marti Gras... with purple gold and green as our colors... their giving out bead necklaces and the scenery is going to be like a stroll down bourbon street....

For the 2002-03 school year our theme is Under The Sea.prom has yet to come but for winter formal the theme was Kiss The Girl ! As in the song Kiss the Girl from the Little Mermaid. I thought it was adorable!

Midnight Magic was the theme of the 2001 prom of James A Garfield High School, The Bertrum Inn was done in balloons and red, white and pink roses. On the four corners of the dance floor were groups of purple, blue and black balloons. The tables were covered in black and purple tableclothes. On the one end of the dance floor were huge balloons of 2003 in the purple and blue. Above the dance floor were hundreds of balloons. As you enter the hall a arch covered in red roses and lights. Had floating candles and roses in the centerpiece. It was so romantic!

Last year our prom theme was Cinderella. We gave out little glass shoe key chains. We made a castle and put glitter all over it. The color was purple.

Our theme for my junior prom was "Change the World" and of course the song was "Change the World" by Eric Clapton. It was so great. Our colors were black,silver,and cranberry. It was so beautiful and i had the greatest time.

Our school's prom theme is Paradise. We want to have prom in our new fieldhouse, but there is controversy over getting the basketball floors ruined. So, our prom commitee is thinking of making it a shoeless prom! And we are going to have a big waterfall in the background! It's gonna be so much fun!

We themed our prom on the world famous industrial process of vulcanized rubber in order to raise money for the inventor of this rubber who sadly neglected to patent his invention and died peniless. Well we haven't really decided on a theme yet but we do have ideas they are Aiming For You. Your Dear to Me or Keep You in My Sights. those are our possible theme choice because for our prom we have a sat of a hunting them e kinda its going to be awesoem because it has water fall rivers and ponds with Deer geeses and many other aniamls. Our colors are Midnight Blue, Silver and Yellow-Orange. We don't have a Song picked out yet. Stacie

This year we have a year long theme going for everything. For our Winter Ball our theme was "ENCHANTMENT ON ICE" the colors were red, silver, and black and we had it downtown. it was so pretty. For my senior prom our theme is "AN EVENING OF ENCHANTMENT". We don't know the colors yet. I went to my junior prom last year and the theme for that was "BEYOND THE EVENING STARS" and those colors were royal blue, silver and white. C/O '03 4LIFE!!!!!!!

Last year's theme was "Twilight's Last Gleaming." It was SO beautiful!!! We had statues of the World Trade Centers and the Statue of Liberty. This year's theme is "Excape to Paradise." I hope this prom is as much of a hit as last year's was!!!

UNFORGETTABLE - This will be the first year that I am going to prom. (You have to be a Junior) It is going to be amazing. We get all glamed up and take a limo to a park where outdoor pictures are taken. Then we are off to the Sheraton in Pittsburg, PA for dinner. Off to the Gateway Clipper for a night of dancing and relaxing on the Ohio River. It all usually ends about 3:30- 4:00 am. The next day everyone either has bonfires or goes to amusement parks. I cant wait!!! Im going to have a great time!!!

Our prom theme was Fire and Ice Opposites Attract. One side of the commons was fire and the other ice and the merging of the two in the middle. Our colors were blue white and silver for ice, red yellow and gold for fire and purple in the middle to make the merging. It was incrediable we had heaters and torches around. Fog machines. It really made you feel like you were in the fire or ice. The night was magical and it was the most creative prom we have ever had at our school.

Our prom was at Turner Field (the place where the Braves play) and our theme was "SCORE!"...it was going to be "slide into home" but its ok, i like "score" better. my date made everything so magical and there were waterfalls and fireworks over the baseball field and we had some actual players from the Braves stop by....it truely was a night to score.....

For our 2002 prom, our theme was "Midnight Under the Stars", and it was gorgeous. We had a stairway things appearing to come from the sky where the seniors would walk under it. It was studded with white lights and the walls were also decked with white lights. It was gorgeous.

Some of the themes of proms I have been to are: "Under The Boardwalk" which had an under-water look, "Southern Summer Nights" with magnolias and a large plantation house painting, "Rennisance Romance" with a castle, "Jungle Boogie" pretty self- expainitory and "A Dream for Us" with a bunch of ugly swans. I'm a junior this year and we plan on doing "Carolina Dreams" with Rainbow Row and our state flag...its going to be GREAT!

Our 2003 prom theme: "A Midsummer Knight's Dream"...(our school mascot is a Knight and therefore it's traditionally in our prom theme) We are planning our decorations etc along the storyline of the play...including the fairies, flowers, and romantic ambiance etc. It is going to be beautiful. We are also asking our chaperones to dress up as characters from the play.
