Last year, the prom was not that good. Everyone hated the fact that it was supposed to be the senior prom. But instead of it being the class of '03', it was the class of '04'. This year, it is going to be the class of '04'. It's said to be a masquerade ball. I really don't like that theme. I would rather it be something else like famous couples, or a night in heaven, or something else. Truthfully, I have no idea what to even wear to a masquerade ball. Do you wear something different from the usual prom dress? please let me know. Planning is crucial for the prom and I must know what to wear (dress, mask, etc.,).

I am part of the class of 2004. I was on the prom commitee last year for the class of 2003 and our theme last year was AN EVENING OF ELEGANCE. This year the class of 2005 has thought of A NIGHT IN PARADISE. Prom will really be great!

Our theme was John Deere. At first I was like how stupid because prom is supposed to be a formal thing. But when I saw our gym fixed up I was impressed by the creativity of our prom committee. The colors were hunter green and yellow. Our servers dressed in overalls, and the song was "She thinks my tractor's sexy", of course.

Our 2004 prom theme is a Hollywood theme.This years prom committe gave it the title A Red Carpet Affair.The orginal title was Hollywood: A Walk On The Red Carpet.The orginal title was better.

I personally always thought it would be cool to have a costume ball or something like that, with a set time period of course. But for some reason Prom to most people just means sappy love themes or something big that has the word "memories" or "future" involved. My junior prom theme was "Tropical Paradise," that just goes to prove what happens when you don't have time from prom committee. You get stuck with a lame theme. Even some of these ones I've read on here would have been better.

In my school the seniors are becoming picky on how there prom is going to be. The colors are realy killing me cuz there not ganna notice the colors when the go in or even while they're in there. One saterday i wasnt feeling well so i went lookin for prom themes while i was watching T.V.. I was kinda listening and lookin at the Computer at the same time and i over heard these guys talkin and one said "come on LIGHT THE FIRE" and it hit me so im ganna submit it and see if other people like it.

"till the lights go out" it is really cool... we have like a city in the background with lights in all the windows....during the last slow song of the prom the lights o out slowly..one building at a time untill the one center building with a heart lite up in the middle is left...at the end of the song...the light will go out!

The theme for he 2003 prom was "A Night in Hollywood". Movie posters were plastered everywhere along with the larger than life cardboard advertisements. To enter the gym you walked the red carpet under a white lacy canopy. The dance floor had a tent of lights hanging from a lighted star on the ceiling. Refreshments included popcorn and candy. The best dance I've ever been to.

being prom chair at an all girls school, we picked "diamonds are a girls best friend" - well, actually, the seniors picked it. anyway, it should be far cuter than it sounds.. tiffany's boxes and pink satin and diamonds scattered everywhere.. and gaudy tiaras and necklaces at a makeshift jewelry counter for the night gift!

Our theme this year is "On The Edge Of A Dream"..not sure how that's gonna work out since they aren't decorating they are just using it for the invitations and favors. But I'm sure it'll be great since it's the first prom for our school!

OUr theme this year is "A HOLLYWOOD PREMEIRE", we thought it would be cool because we didn't want nothing too0o0o romatic but still a little bit romantic. We will have Cardboard cutouts...pillars...rolls of films (enlarged)...and its all handmade by us! I am the DAnce Coordinator so I have been in charge of prom and our dance...Our dance in October was Masquerade Ball...it was kinda like Mardi Gras.

At my school, the juniors gift to the seniors is prom. This year the juniors are thinking about "Four", "Unforgettable", and "Remember the Times". I think prom is going to be wonderful this year. It's going to be absolutely gorgeous.

IN MY 8 GREAD JUNIOR PROM ARE THEME WAS "DREAMS COME TRUE" . IT TURED OUT TO BE VERY COOL WE HAD A PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PIC. WE EVEN HAD CLOUDS HANGING FROM THE CELLING, WHITE DRAPS WHEN YOU COME IN THE DOOR, GLITTER ALL OVER THE FLOOR ,WE EVEN HAD A SMOKE MACHINE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE WALKING IN CLOUD. With our prom theme for 2004 we decided to take a different angle and instead of having 1 theme we have 4, one for every season of the year. We chose colors according to season for four sections of our ballroom, so no matter what color dress a lady buys her colors wont clash. Going with spring we chose "What a long strange trip it's been", with summer we chose "Paradise Cove", with fall we chose "Autumn in New York", and with winter we chose "Stuck in a dreamworld". Hey it's different than the normal crap, and we like it, if only they'd let us bring some coronas.

We have our prom on a cruise boat every year, so it's hard to pick awsome decorations (ie: the fountains and trees filling the prom catalogues). There is a central staircase, and we decided that we wanted to upper eating area to be gaceful with flowing fabric: the works. But, with the staircase, we wanted to get that water element in; we decided to make the stairs leading to the lower dance floor into a waterfall. It flows from the top of the stairs and over the dance floor all the way behind the DJ table. The upper eating area features tents over each table, sort of like mosquito nets. And, lastly, the upper dance floor has white Christmas lights covered in black gossamer to look like the sky with palm trees. The hardest part of it all was coming up with a theme name. We are the Kingswood Knights, and because upstairs was like a desert and the staircase/downstairs is an oasis, we came up with the perfect name: Arabian Knights. We used yellow- gold, red, and purple gossamer for the tents; a number of shades of blue for the water; and, couragated paper for the tree bark and leaves. It's elegant and exotic: perfect!

Our theme is a Japanese Garden but we haven't decided on a title yet. It will be elegant with the simplicity of the Japanese. Bamboo, fountains, bonsai, cherry blossoms, walking bridges, colors of celedon green and off white and maybe pink for the blossoms. Our proms are held in a hotel and our school is very large(1000 kids at prom)

Our Junior class is a very close class and has always done things different. So this year we have chosen the theme "Night Under The Big Top" (Pretty Much the Circus theme). So far we have not found any other schools that have done this as their prom theme. Our prom looks to be a fun and entertaining time.

For Prom 2004 we decided to go with a less romantic and more fun theme. So, we decided to do a Hollywood theme. We have a really small school, so each year we have our grand march where each couple is introduced to all the parents/friends/family that comes to watch. Everybody then gets a chance to walk down our very own red carpet.

The Junior class plans the Senior prom at our school. And this year, the Juniors chose for us the theme "Cirque de la Lune" which translated is "circus of the moon" this will be interesting. I hope it turns out nice though.

FOR OUR PROM WE WENT WITH THE THEME "STAR-SPANGLED NIGHT: THE AMERICAN DREAM" IT WAS VERY COOL. WE HAD RED WHITE AND BLUE AND REPLICATIONS OF NATIONAL MONUMENTS. IT WAS VERY PATRIOTIC.
