The prom committee at my school picked "A moment like this" as the theme. They want to have the colors be maroon silver and gold. It sounds pretty lame to me but at least its only my junior prom.

Our Prom theme this year is "Tonight, Tonight" (Smashing Pumpkins). But I thought that "When I look to the Sky" (Train) or "Ice Prom" would be cool. Hahaha don't ask about Ice Prom....

Our theme this year for prom is called French Kiss... it's spiffy because at the end of the year we get to go on a trip to Europe and part of the trip is in France. I'm not sure how the decorations are because prom is a month away! I'm so excited!

The Junior Class of 2005 decided for the Junior-Senior Prom theme to be "UnForgettable"...We are going to have lit silver arches with silver flooring for the Seniors to walk out on...The Theme song is of course Unforgettable. It's going to be Awesome!

Last years prom theme was a Night In Paris and it was really cool because we had an eiffel tower sat one corner of the room and an eiffel tower as the centerpiece for each table but I don't remember the colors. This years theme is Hawaiin. I think it's gonna be very festive and colorful.

Junior Prom this year is "Midnight Oasis"...A night in Morocco. Itll be cool its going to be on the golf corse next to the ocean in a huge tent. it should be pretty sweet!

The senior class colors are black and white, so the prom committee wanted to do something vintage for the prom. We decided on "Classic Hollywood Glamour". We have miniature Oscar statures for the attendees and a red carpet to walk in on. It should be a lot of fun!

Well this year I am only a freshman, but for the junior prom of 04, the theme was set up like the game "Candyland". The decorations were really cute and it ended up turning out great.

Last year our prom theme was Imagine. Prom decorations were all blakc and white. And in the middle of the gym for prom walk, we had a huge clobe made out of an old satelite dish. The black and white theme was awesome it really gave prom some class.

A Night to Remember. Have your school colors have balloons, some type of souviner for the prom night, and some type of streamers some type of soft material to match your school colors. Or whatever the color is you decide on.

Though i am only in 10th grade this year, i have been putting a lot of thought into next years prom theme. Theis years prom theme is "Stairway to Heaven" which i think is kind of stupid because a bunch of preppy girls wanted that theme just because it was their mothers theme.

I'm a junior and this is what my class has picked for the Prom theme: **Pastel Jungle** The theme speaks for itself on how pathetic it'll sound if no one changes it...we are keeping on how it looks more the title itself. I think it should be "A Night in Paradise." But the colors otherwise are pretty good in how it'll look.

We planned turnabout last year. Our theme was "swingin' the night away". The title isnt the greatest, but it was a 50's theme and it was beautiful! It could definitly be a great PROM theme. We bought over 200 old records from thrift stores (really cheap), and used fish wire to hang it from our ceilings, IT was beautiful!

I am hoping this year that our senior prom theme will be "A Touch of Class, 2005". Our decorations will be all black and white, and I would really like the centerpiece on the tables to be white pillar candles surrounded by dried roses. :)

hey im in charge of the junior prom. and this year the theme is studio 54. We are draping the entire room in black and splatter painting the drapes in neon and speniding most of our money on strobe lights....its basically gonna be a rave but this is a private school and we cant do that sooooo just call it studio 54!

This year our class voted on the senior prom theme to be "Venetian Dreams" and basically center the enter prom around Italy. Usually on prom was held on a 3 tier paddleboat on a nearby lake, but this year it's being held on a really nice lake-front resort. So we're having things like gondola rides (those Italian boats), chocolate fountains, and so much more!

For our prom in 2004 we had midnight in new york it was beautiful we had a sing and sparkley stars everywhere twikle lights we had a thing in one of the corners that was brodway and then another with a brige it was so pretty

Last year we called our prom "Moonlight Serenade". I thought that it was a really good one too. I think we had like a guy going around playing a mandaline thingie and it was very Italian themed.

The themes that I like are "I could not ask for more" and "Amazed by you". I think these go so well for senior proms cuz they are really cute and we couldn't ask for more than graduating at the end of the year. These aren't necessarily for Prom, but for Homecoming, Sweethearts, or any other dance. In the past we've had: "We're in Heaven" by Bryan Adams, "OnlyYours"(which was really 'only hope' from a Walk to Remember), "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra, "When You Love Someone" by Bryan Adams, and "When I Fall in Love (It Will Be Forever)" by Celine Dion and Clive Griffin, off the Sleepless in Seattle Soundtrack. "At the Beginning" from the Anastasia Soundtrack.

My school has had some pretty good themes for formal dances. This year for homecoming we had "Night At The Roxbury." We made the gym look like a nightclub and had glowsticks and stuff like that on the tables. We also had 2 chaperones dress up as bouncers. The song was of course "What Is Love" by Hadaway. It was one of the best dances. In the past, we've done "Unleash The Dragon", "Paradise Island", and "Mardi Gras" For winter weekend we want to do "Las Vegas," but we're not allowed because it promotes gambling....riiight. Last year we did "Happy Days" and had a '50s theme. The DJ played a few oldies once in awhile, and we a had hula hoop contest. It was the best dance, but only because of the decorations. The year before we did "Ice Ice Baby." It was a pretty big hit.
