Our theme for last years prom was named after a street in Paris. It was pretty neat we had it at the mall and it was fixed up like the streets in Paris!!!!

"Frozen in Time." We had an epic stuggle on the prom commitee about the theme, then we fought over having King/Queen. Alas, this was voted dowm. It would have been so fun to have had the drama and bitchy infighting that goes along with high school girls and titles. Anyway, as God as my witness I, peronally, will make this prom just as fabulous as I know it can be. I can't wait to impose my will on the unsuspecting juniors next year when I'm on the commitee again!

Well, I'm not sure what our theme is for this year. But when I went to the prom my freshman year, the theme was "An evening of Enchantment." The backdrop was somewhat stary and there were white drapes on the sides. Uh, I thought but my dress was the same color, navy blue. So, it worked out okay. Our pictures came out nice and we had fun.

This year I'm a junior at my high school. I m also on student council. Ever year the juniors are in charge of the prom. This year it took us quit a while to figure out a theme, but then we looked in a magazine that was called "Stumps". This magazine helped us out a whole lot, in fat we got a kit to match our theme. It is "Can't Fight The Moon Light. We think it's perfect. And we definitly recamind "Stumps."

The gym was decorated by the juniors. They had had it like a garden theme....with a covered walkway to walk through during leadout.

Our Junior Prom Theme for 2002 is "ONLY TIME". The Theme song is going to be ONLY TIME by Enya, but the actualy prom song is going to be Right HERE WAITING FOR YOU by Richard Marx. It is perfect because we are having it at a train station also.

"Paradise on Ice" Our theme consisted of a lot of blues, irredescents, whites, and pastels. We are going to have a waterfall, a pond with fish in it, and the entire floor will be a light blueish-silver. We will have a gazebo that we stop at for pictures, it will be white and be formal, but simple. We also have real trees, but with balloons all over them. This will give a winter affect. Our prom is in our high school gym and it's very hot in there, so we hope these cooler colors will help to cool it down. We don't want any green in the gym.

Last year's Prom Theme was Save The Last Dance! It was a great Prom, although I didn't get to go since I was a sophomore! In 2000 the theme of the prom was "Touched by an Angel". A girl had died the year before, so the prom was dedicated to her. It was pretty, but it was so sad which kinda made the whole prom kinda depressing.

Our 8th grade prom's theme was "Close to You", and the song was the same. The decorations were black and gold, which was cool because the classes before us always had purples, blues, and silvers. For pictures, we had a cheap looking star with a gold background. The background started to peel off in the middle of the party!!! The pictures were horrible, and I thought it was so ugly.

This year the theme of our Prom is going to be "Unforgetable" and our song will be the same. We are having the Prom at the Albermarle Plantation Club House, which overlooks the Albermarle Sound. Our colors are Ivory and Hunter Green, and we are using Burgandy as an accent color. We are builing an arbor to go outside and are cont. that inside with ivy-strung latice going over beams in the cathederal ceiling. It is going to be absolutely beautiful.

Every year the year 11's have a leavers ball over here in england and as i was the one setting everything up i decided to turn it into a prom instead because i have always wanted to go to one. I decided on a Gothic theme. It was amazing. All of the girls were in dark colours like black, burgandy, dark red and purple and so were the guys. Our hall was decorated with candles and that was the only light we had. there were also pillars aroung the edge with fake bats and statues of vampires and things like that. We had a live band playing and they played phantom of the opera style music which was quite scary but romantic. The song of the night was 'A Gothic Romance (Red Roses For The Devil's Whore' by cradle of filth.

Our junior/senior prom theme was "A Night In Disguise." I thought it was a pretty well thought up theme. There were a lot of silver decorations. The picture background was a blueish color with creme colored pillars on either side of you. It wwas definitly a night I would never forget!!
